Emirates has integrated Crypto.com Pay into its website and mobile app, enabling eligible UAE residents to book flights using cryptocurrency. The service covers flight bookings priced in UAE dirhams and is processed through Crypto.com’s Dubai entity, which operates under regulatory oversight from the UAE Central Bank. The move follows a memorandum of understanding signed between Emirates and Crypto.com in July 2025. Users on the Emirates app are redirected to the Crypto.com app for payment authorization, while desktop users can select Crypto.com Pay at checkout and complete payment by scanning a QR code. The service is currently limited to qualifying UAE residents, marking a practical step toward mainstream crypto adoption in the travel sector.
