Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev's X account was reportedly hacked on Thursday and used to promote a meme coin called 'VLAD'. The compromised account posted fake announcements claiming that Robinhood would launch 'Vladhood ($VLAD)' as the official mascot of 'Robinhood Chain' and that it would be listed on the Robinhood app, along with a contract address. Neither Robinhood's official X account nor Robinhood Crypto's account shared such information. The Robinhood Chain block explorer has flagged the token as a potential scam.
