If Bitcoin stays under $70,000 when the options expire, the seller will collect the full premium of $3.03 million. The trade is designed to profit from limited upward movement and the passage of time.
This sizable call-selling flow may add resistance near the $70,000 level, making it a key psychological and options-related barrier for short-term price action. As expiration approaches, traders could see heightened volatility around that zone.
